No. As long as you're an NRA member between the ages of 50 and 74, your acceptance is guaranteed. No medical exam is required. No health questions will be asked.

You have two special advantages: You get GROUP coverage (rates could be lower than coverage you might set up on your own) and the program was set up specifically for older Members.

You can select $5,000, $10,000, or $20,000 in coverage (members 65+ are limited to $10,000 maximum).

If death is from a covered accident, full benefits are paid. For other causes of death, 125% of annual premium is paid in year one, 250% in year two, then full benefits after 24 months.

Yes, spouse benefit will be equal to member's benefit amount with separate rates.

Coverage continues until age 90 as long as premiums are paid. At age 80+, benefit amount is reduced to $5,000.
