Cancer Care Insurance Plan

Because acceptance is guaranteed as long as you haven’t had cancer (except skin cancer) in the specified timeframe. As cancer incidents become more likely with increasing age, the NRA urges you to take action now.

The NRA approved Cancer Care Insurance Plan provides benefits REGARDLESS of any other insurance you may have. You collect cash benefits to help with unexpected costs.

Group Term Life Insurance

Most experts say “yes” because it’s term life insurance, which is the type financial experts often recommend.

When you add it to coverage you may already have, $50,000 may help your family keep pace with with growing responsibilities like credit card bills, student debt, mortgage payments, and family obligations.

No. Acceptance is extended on a guaranteed basis with no medical exams required and no health questions to answer.

Absolutely. As long as you enroll in member coverage, your spouse may elect the $50,000 benefit – also with guaranteed acceptance.

Less than you think. Group rates help keep costs economical. A 30-year-old non-smoker pays just $11 a month – that’s 37 cents a day.

Hospital Help Plan

Generally, the answer is “no.” Medicare may not pay all your hospital costs. Medicare and most major medical insurance plans require you to pay a deductible, co-payments, and goods and services in the hospital not covered by your plan.

Absolutely not. There are NO medical exams or health questions involved when you sign up for this important program. As an NRA Member, you are GUARANTEED coverage.

Yes. As soon as your coverage goes into effect, you are immediately covered for any new injuries or sicknesses. Pre-existing conditions have a 12-month waiting period (6-months in ID, ME, NV, SD, UT and WY).

Coverage for all insureds (whether member or spouse) will reduce by 50% when the Member reaches age 75 regardless of age at enrollment.

"ON-THE-MOVE" Travel Accident Protection

Because NRA Members are “on-the-move” people. With our active outdoor lifestyles, we’re often “out and about” in cars, planes, buses, taxis, trains, ships, ferries and more. This plan provides “extra-mile” insurance coverage to help protect NRA families in exactly those situations.

NRA recommends this coverage because your spouse/registered domestic partner is probably on the go about as much as you. Since no one can predict whom or when an accident will occur, the NRA urges all Members to strongly consider the “member & spouse/registered domestic partner” option.

The NRA set up “ON-THE-MOVE” to be paid regardless of any other coverage you may have. Your beneficiary can collect the cash benefits REGARDLESS of any other insurance proceeds from medical plans, life insurance, workers’ compensation or any other program.

There’s no obligation with the program’s “Free Look” Period. We’ll send you a Certificate of Insurance to review for 30 days. If you’re not completely satisfied, we’ll cancel your coverage and refund any premium paid, as long as you haven’t made claims.

Your coverage starts the first day of the month after your enrollment form and first premium payment are received by the administrator.

Senior Term Life Insurance

As you grow older, you may need a little additional life insurance coverage. The NRA put together this plan for its members to provide a reliable safety net to help add to your family’s financial protection or simply to combat the bite inflation has taken out of life insurance set up years ago.

No. As long as you’re an NRA member between the ages of 50 and 74, your acceptance is guaranteed. No medical exam is required. No health questions will be asked.

You have two special advantages: You get GROUP coverage (rates could be lower than coverage you might set up on your own) and the program was set up specifically for older Members.

You can select $5,000, $10,000, or $20,000 in coverage (members 65+ are limited to $10,000 maximum).

If death is from a covered accident, full benefits are paid. For other causes of death, 125% of annual premium is paid in year one, 250% in year two, then full benefits after 24 months.
